If you're reading this, chances are you already know the feeling — you want a jacket, a pair of boots, or a base layer that's actually made in Britain, and you end up three hours deep down a search engine rabbit hole with nothing to show for it. That's the exact problem I set out to fix.
I'm Matt, and I've spent years genuinely into British outdoor clothing — not just wearing it, but researching it, testing it, and tracking down the manufacturers who still make things properly, here, by hand or by small production line. What I kept running into wasn't a lack of great British-made kit. It was a lack of anywhere that brought it together in one place you could actually trust.
That's what British Made Outfitters is. I'm working directly with British manufacturers — some of them small, all of them properly skilled — to bring their kit to a wider audience, starting with a handful of hand-picked partners I'm genuinely proud to work with. I serve in the Royal Navy, and I'm building this alongside that, in whatever spare time I can find.
This channel and this site are going to be where that story gets told. I'll be visiting the factories and the shops themselves, filming the process so you can see exactly where and how your kit is made. I'll be putting out educational content on British manufacturing and the outdoor industry, alongside honest reviews of kit I've actually tested myself — no fluff, no "premium quality" buzzwords, just what works and what doesn't.
